Having said that, we do suggest taking a backup of your device either on your laptop or on iCloud to be on the safer side so that you can roll back to iOS 13 when needed. We suggest installing the update on an older iPhone that is not your primary device if you really can’t wait for the full release. However, so far we have found the Public Beta to be quite stable but you can expect inconsistent performance as the beta update is meant for testing out upcoming features and giving feedback to Apple.
We have to warn that the iOS 14 Public Beta can be buggy for some users. Apple has also added a few hidden features that the company did not talk about at their live event which you can find here. Some of the features we love are the new widgets that can be placed anywhere on the home screen, an app drawer feature called “App Library” to make the home screen less cluttered, and revamped messages for iPhone users. Apple has brought many new features that will change how we use iPhones and some of our favourites can be found here. If you are using a fairly recent iPhone or iPad you can install the early version of the upcoming update on your phone. IOS 14 Beta is now available for the public to try out as Apple has started to roll out the public beta testing build for users.
